The longevity of these softwood sleepers depends on how they are maintained and where they are placed.

For example, a sleeper that is regularly maintained can last between 20 and 30 years, however if left untreated and in contact with the ground, it may have a lifespan of only 2 to 5 years.

Please note: This sleeper can weigh between 25kg and 35kg depending on how much water the sleeper contains.
