It has crisp, straight edges facilitating both contemporary close-joint laying or more traditional wide-joint laying. Honed Sandstone Paving

The honed face of the Regal paving range produces a smooth luxurious finish that is particularly suitable for the creation of modern, contemporary areas. The stone has been specially selected by our quarry team for its innate quality and grade, and then our expert masons have processed the premium grade sandstone honing and sawing the slabs to provide this product is excellent quality and finish.

Unique Patterning

Sandstone is a sedimentary rock that was formed on ancient sea beds over many millions of years. Over that time unique patterns and variations of sandy deposits on the seafloor were compressed under the weight and pressure of the sea and also by gravity to fuse and form these beautiful stones. This natural and somewhat random process leads to the variation and unique character seen in each paving slab that is inherent to real stone.

This variation and unique character are what drives the aesthetic appeal of a natural sandstone patio - the colouring, flecks and patterns of the stones that play with changing light conditions and weather to create this every changing natural tapestry.
